Sermet Bedi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özer Rıfat, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Müfit Uzcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çağdaş Boysel during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 minutes, Müfit Uzcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Sihhiye players grew even worse after the yellow card. Müfit Uzcan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Cevher Şükür came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sihhiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevher Şükür couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Cevher Şükür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sermet Bedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Sihhiye's Cevher Şükür sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sermet Bedi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Özbek Taylak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müfit Uzcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çağdaş Boysel was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 27 played minutes Sihhiye got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Boysel. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Derya Özkutal hit a great ball. If Cevher Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sermet Bedi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özer Rıfat in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Özer Rıfat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sihhiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Özer Rıfat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sermet Bedi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Özer Rıfat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Müfit Uzcan to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Özer Rıfat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Barcelona's Sermet Bedi. Sermet Bedi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 played minutes Sihhiye got a freekick which was hit by Şanver Sökmen. In the 58th minute of the match Ali Asım Yerel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özbek Taylak skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute, FC Barcelona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Özer Rıfat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ali Asım Yerel was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barcelona's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ali Asım Yerel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sihhiye's Özbek Taylak did a great save. Müfit Uzcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Taylak having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sihhiye eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
