If Şemsettin Sefir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When SivasSpor's Yakup Kahveci in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mustafa Oğuz Enver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebi Kerimhan in the 23rd minute of play. Baturay Gerdaneri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mustafa Oğuz Enver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devran Sezal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dorukhan Ongay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cengelköy. Baykal Saykal charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baykal Saykal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Cengelköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baykal Saykal to maneuver through the defense. Ali Cafer Yaygır took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mustafa Oğuz Enver. Cengelköy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Şemsettin Sefir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. In the 55th minute, SivasSpor's Şemsettin Sefir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mustafa Oğuz Enver. Mustafa Oğuz Enver yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Yakup Kahveci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Oğuz Enver having to interfere. Şemsettin Sefir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şemsettin Sefir in the 65th minute of play forced Cengelköy's goalkeeper Mustafa Oğuz Enver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SivasSpor were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Cengelköy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ali Cafer Yaygır took the corner. SivasSpor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SivasSpor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
