Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Türkeş İdil started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Melikgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Akpolat came free, but Cengiz Ayaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Fikret Akpolat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melikgazi's Cengiz Ayaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When İbrahim Ethem Yalman came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the YERMEZ SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İbrahim Ethem Yalman couldn't finish the play. Fikret Akpolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Melikgazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Baki Yenbu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Melikgazi's zone, Alaaddin Onurad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengiz Ayaz came out of the goal and Alaaddin Onurad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Fikret Akpolat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengiz Ayaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fikret Akpolat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengiz Ayaz having to make a save. Joel Ekeberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cengiz Ayaz 24 minutes into the match. YERMEZ SK's Fikret Akpolat got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cengiz Ayaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikret Akpolat, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Melikgazi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Feyzullay Semim hit a great ball. The supporters of YERMEZ SK booed when Melikgazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyzullay Semim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Fikret Akpolat made a precise shot to the right of Cengiz Ayaz. Melikgazi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 94th match minute, YERMEZ SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenan Refet to maneuver through the defense. YERMEZ SK's Joel Ekeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the YERMEZ SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
