The İnegöl GFB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökcan Çimen should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gümüssuyu JK's goalkeeper Doğaner Pamiroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in İnegöl GFB's zone, Fadıl Özbil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökcan Çimen came out of the goal and Fadıl Özbil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gökcan Çimen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türker Horasanlı in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Türker Horasanlı to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Horasanlı in the 54th minute of play forced İnegöl GFB's goalkeeper Gökcan Çimen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gümüssuyu JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Gümüssuyu JK's Gökcan Çimen threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Türker Horasanlı, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
