Çağan Hamurcuoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakan Baykan having to interfere. Hakan Baykan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haydar Melik's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Asarcik defense, Çağan Hamurcuoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakan Baykan. The Asarcik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakan Baykan should have stopped the shot. In the 10th match minute, Tokatspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berk Tuney to maneuver through the defense. In the 13thth minute of the game Oğuzalp Togay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tokatspor's Kandemir Uğurata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haydar Melik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hakan Baykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdurrahim Direnç's late challenge caught a Asarcik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdurrahim Direnç helped the player get up and apologised. Abdurrahim Direnç hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Halit Ziya Burçhan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hulki Nurbaki during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hulki Nurbaki hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Haydar Melik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asarcik's Hakan Baykan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Haydar Melik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakan Baykan made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Çağan Hamurcuoğlu sent off a good shot on target. When Tokatspor's Haydar Melik in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Asarcik's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Tokatspor booed when Asarcik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Oncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakan Baykan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar Melik in the 45th minute of play. If Çağan Hamurcuoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Oğuzalp Togay made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Oğuzalp Togay could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Kandemir Uğurata however easily saved by the left post. Çağan Hamurcuoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakan Baykan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çağan Hamurcuoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakan Baykan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Tokatspor's Haydar Melik. But to his dismay, Haydar Melik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Çağan Hamurcuoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tokatspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdurrahim Direnç in the 72nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Asarcik's goalie and right to Erberk Çolak. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Asarcik's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Haydar Melik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hakan Baykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haydar Melik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halit Ziya Burçhan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Asarcik's Mert Ocakoğlu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Çağan Hamurcuoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hakan Baykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haydar Melik might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakan Baykan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haydar Melik ran back to his position shaking his head. Oğuzalp Togay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kandemir Uğurata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tokatspor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Asarcik for a fine match.
