In the 8th minute Fevzi Safih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kandemir Uğurata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Adalar SK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ant Yalazabey hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Çağan Hamurcuoğlu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alkan Şanalp. If Ahmet Kutsi Argün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kandemir Uğurata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Safih in the 26th minute of play. Asım Varol charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asım Varol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haydar Melik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Göktuğ Keykubad hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arın Ferhat Samir during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Adalar SK got a freekick which was hit by Arın Ferhat Samir. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fevzi Safih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batıhan Haznedaroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batıhan Haznedaroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Adalar SK's Batıhan Haznedaroğlu got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tokatspor's zone, Ahmet Kutsi Argün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kandemir Uğurata came out of the goal and Ahmet Kutsi Argün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalar SK's Alkan Şanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haydar Melik in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Haydar Melik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alkan Şanalp. Haydar Melik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 68thth minute of the game Haydar Melik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adalar SK's Alkan Şanalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Nejat Dicle kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The nice shot from Çağan Hamurcuoğlu in the 85thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alkan Şanalp had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 86th minute of the match, Haydar Melik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alkan Şanalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Çağan Hamurcuoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Adalar SK's Tibet Ekemen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kandemir Uğurata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alkan Şanalp made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Çağan Hamurcuoğlu sent off a good shot on target.
