In the 20thth minute of the game Mehmet Fatih Kongur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talas JK's Haluk Çelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Talas JK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Fatih Kongur came free, but Haluk Çelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Fatih Kongur to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fazıl Hüsnü Oktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivrindi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Fatih Kongur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivrindi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
