After 5 played minutes Balikesir got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Ergül. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selami Taylak in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aktuğ Tacir saved Balikesir from getting behind. If Erkan Daim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Müjdat Ergül hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hemsin FK's İlyas Tolga Kulan tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Müjdat Ergül kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zühtü Oğuralp in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aktuğ Tacir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Selami Taylak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktuğ Tacir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Selami Taylak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bora Semir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hasan Hüseyin Ilgıt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Zühtü Oğuralp made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Balikesir's Aktuğ Tacir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Hemsin FK's goalkeeper Barışcan Orsel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bora Semir. The supporters of Balikesir booed when Hemsin FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahmi Torgay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barışcan Orsel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bora Semir went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selami Taylak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Zühtü Oğuralp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 56th play minutes Selami Taylak shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Aktuğ Tacir and just under the crossbar into goal. Zühtü Oğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aktuğ Tacir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selami Taylak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 65th minute, Zühtü Oğuralp made a precise shot to the right of Aktuğ Tacir. Balikesir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 71 minutes, Hasan Hüseyin Ilgıt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balikesir and the Hemsin FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Semir in the 83rd minute of play forced Hemsin FK's goalkeeper Barışcan Orsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bora Semir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aytek Baltacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Selami Taylak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aktuğ Tacir having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Selami Taylak took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Aktuğ Tacir to make any attempt to save it. The Hemsin FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hemsin FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
