After a rather tough play, Burgazada's Nazmi Boztepe got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serdar Hataylı in the 21st minute of play forced Burgazada's goalkeeper Levent Özaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Müjdat Tuncel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarper Münir was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game.
