After a rather tough play, Gercüs JK's Armağan İzgü got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Gercüs JK's Gökay Tansu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gercüs JK's Turgay Barlas got control of the ball when Duran Perva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Turgay Barlas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duran Perva in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Siirt SK's zone, Gökay Tansu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aydemir Ongunsu came out of the goal and Gökay Tansu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erkan Satı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erkut Ünlü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Siirt SK's zone, Gökay Tansu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aydemir Ongunsu came out of the goal and Gökay Tansu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duran Perva charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duran Perva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Siirt SK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Duran Perva hit a great ball. If Gökay Tansu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Abdurrezzak Açar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siirt SK and the Gercüs JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdurrezzak Açar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Erkut Ünlü cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aydemir Ongunsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arslan Kapar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Siirt SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Ulualp to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Gercüs JK got a penalty, and Erkut Ünlü placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erkut Ünlü got free with Aydemir Ongunsu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erkut Ünlü might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aydemir Ongunsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erkut Ünlü ran back to his position shaking his head. Gökay Tansu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aydemir Ongunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Siirt SK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tolga Yağmurdereli hit a great ball. Aydemir Ongunsu made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Erkut Ünlü sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Gökay Tansu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aydemir Ongunsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Arslan Kapar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Siirt SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Gercüs JK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Akşemseddin Ersezen hit a great ball. Armağan İzgü charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armağan İzgü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arslan Kapar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Gökay Tansu sped through Siirt SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aydemir Ongunsu. The Gercüs JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gercüs JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
