The nice shot from Demircan Uğurtay in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mehmet Bilge Arslanoğlu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturalp Geçer in the 34th minute of play forced Tefenni SK's goalkeeper Sertaç İkram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Tuğrul Cambaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Baturalp Geçer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 46th minute Baturalp Geçer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertaç İkram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sercan Uzhan made a kick off. Sertaç İkram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturalp Geçer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sercan Uzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demircan Uğurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mehmet Bilge Arslanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Bilge Arslanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sercan Uzhan in the 58th minute of the match. Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sertaç İkram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tefenni SK defense, Baturalp Geçer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertaç İkram. The Tefenni SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertaç İkram should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Hakan Erzincanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sercan Uzhan struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iznik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Iznik booed when Tefenni SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuğrul Cambaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 99th minute, Ahmet Oğuz Ersoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iznik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.
