Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Abdulbaki Türkcan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mustafa Kemal Uçanok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulbaki Türkcan in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Göksun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Buğra Sönmezalp to maneuver through the defense. If Öztürk Kiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Göksun booed when Balcova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Osman İlker didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mehmet Edip İlmi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Göksun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Edip İlmi couldn't finish the play. Zühtü Ulutekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. İlhami Baran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Öztürk Kiray in the 23rd minute of play forced Göksun's goalkeeper Mustafa Kemal Uçanok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Öztürk Kiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Kemal Uçanok having to interfere. When Balcova's Abdulbaki Türkcan in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Göksun's goalie prevented a goal. Mustafa Kemal Uçanok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Öztürk Kiray went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Öztürk Kiray scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Kemal Uçanok, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Mehmet Osman İlker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saffet Topçay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göksun's Mustafa Kemal Uçanok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Göksun from getting a goal against them. After 56 played minutes Balcova got a freekick which was hit by Doğaner Denizalp. İlhami Baran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Ulutekin in the 66th minute of play. İlhami Baran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saffet Topçay's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Mehmet Edip İlmi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Göksun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Edip İlmi couldn't finish the play. A long shot from Mehdi Kurman in the 73rd minute of play was well struck, but Mustafa Kemal Uçanok made a really good save at the right post. With an all-out effort, Balcova's Mustafa Kemal Uçanok threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Doğaner Denizalp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Göksun's Mustafa Kemal Uçanok got control of the ball when Öztürk Kiray tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Balcova getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mustafa Numan İkram hit a great ball. Göksun's Saffet Topçay got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Edip İlmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Baran having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Balcova had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
