Recep Baykan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murat Yalazay came out and tried to block the shot, but Recep Baykan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Murat Yalazay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirkelam Erkılıç in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Enis Behiç Sezgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fehmi Coşkunsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Kuan Xiong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fehmi Coşkunsu having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Enis Behiç Sezgin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fehmi Coşkunsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fehmi Coşkunsu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Esentepe's Enis Behiç Sezgin. But to his dismay, Enis Behiç Sezgin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Enis Behiç Sezgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fehmi Coşkunsu having to interfere. Mehmet Arif Payam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murat Yalazay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Gümüshaciköy getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Recep Baykan hit a great ball. Murat Yalazay made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Osman Ali Turatekin sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Ali Talaykut struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fehmi Coşkunsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esentepe. Lu Kuan Xiong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fehmi Coşkunsu having to interfere. Fehmi Coşkunsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Behiç Sezgin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lu Kuan Xiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Esentepe were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mirkelam Erkılıç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Osman Ali Turatekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murat Yalazay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ali Talaykut hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Esentepe's Murat Yalazay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Eryaman in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Esentepe's Lu Kuan Xiong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fehmi Coşkunsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Gümüshaciköy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Recep Baykan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Enis Behiç Sezgin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esentepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Enis Behiç Sezgin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fehmi Coşkunsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Enis Behiç Sezgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Lu Kuan Xiong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esentepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lu Kuan Xiong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enis Behiç Sezgin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Gümüshaciköy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esentepe:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fehmi Coşkunsu, was totally fooled by Esentepe's Mehmet Ali Talaykut, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gümüshaciköy's zone, Enis Behiç Sezgin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fehmi Coşkunsu came out of the goal and Enis Behiç Sezgin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Lu Kuan Xiong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murat Yalazay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüknettin Eryaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mirkelam Erkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fehmi Coşkunsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enis Behiç Sezgin in the 87th minute of the match. Mirkelam Erkılıç took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murat Yalazay. Murat Yalazay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 92nd match minute, Gümüshaciköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recep Baykan to maneuver through the defense. Fehmi Coşkunsu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. The Gümüshaciköy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esentepe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
