The referee ignored Mahmudiye's protests and gave Balamir Ankara a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Mahmudiye got a freekick which was hit by Balamir Ankara. Şafak Temizer struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Anıl Işıklar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mahmudiye. Akın Afacan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Batuğ İspinoz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Akın Afacans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Batuğ İspinoz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kutluay Şahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuğ İspinoz having to interfere. Anıl Işıklar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balamir Ankara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kutluay Şahin in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batuğ İspinoz saved Mahmudiye from getting behind. Tevfik Evcimen charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tevfik Evcimen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mahmudiye's Tevfik Evcimen got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Kutluay Şahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batuğ İspinoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akın Afacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuğ İspinoz having to interfere. Şafak Temizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
