Halim İlsev charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halim İlsev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Halim İlsev hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fahrettin Yiğithan made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Bala's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızhan Türköne came free, but Orhan Veysel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orhan Veysel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağızhan Türköne in the 59th minute of play. Muhittin Onay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Orhan Veysel made a huge save. After 66 minutes, Yağızhan Türköne made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bala's Orhan Veysel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Orhan Veysel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğur Onatkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Bala's Fahrettin Yiğithan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Vezir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orkun Tükelalp hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bala's goalkeeper Orhan Veysel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orhan Veysel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhittin Onay in the 95th minute. Konya played a much better game than Bala and deserved their victory. The Bala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
