Recep Talha Naşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızhan Türköne in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Necaettin Serdinç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sason's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konya the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Sason was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necaettin Serdinç to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Orkun Tükelalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orkun Tükelalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yağızhan Türköne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Yağızhan Türköne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Recep Talha Naşit was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ahmet Hasan Ünalp kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Yağızhan Türköne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Recep Talha Naşit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Yağızhan Türköne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sason's Recep Talha Naşit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yağızhan Türköne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Muhittin Onay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Naşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Recep Talha Naşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızhan Türköne in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağızhan Türköne in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recep Talha Naşit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yağızhan Türköne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Sason's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızhan Türköne came free, but Recep Talha Naşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orhan Seyfi Biçimli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Muhittin Onay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Muhittin Onay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sason's Recep Talha Naşit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Muhittin Onay might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Recep Talha Naşit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muhittin Onay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Yağızhan Türköne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Konya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Muhittin Onay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Talha Naşit having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sason's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızhan Türköne came free, but Recep Talha Naşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sason's Recep Talha Naşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhittin Onay in the 90th minute of play. When Yağızhan Türköne came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Konya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Türköne couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Konya fully deserved thier win.
