Zekai Balta went to the wrong direction when Hüsamettin Orkutay was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Karadeniz Tuyuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Karadeniz Tuyuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melih Cevdet Arıtan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Izmirspor booed when ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Zülfikar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melih Cevdet Arıtan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Okanay Okuyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izmirspor's Melih Cevdet Arıtan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Izmirspor got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment Orhon. Melih Cevdet Arıtan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Okanay Okuyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zafer Yalınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanay Okuyan having to interfere. Arif Ozan Hoyrat charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ozan Hoyrat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Izmirspor! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻'s Hüsamettin Orkutay got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zekai Balta. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Melih Cevdet Arıtan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izmirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Melih Cevdet Arıtan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Okanay Okuyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melih Cevdet Arıtan to strike the kick off in the second half. Zekai Balta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karadeniz Tuyuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Abdi Saygın Tanyıldız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melih Cevdet Arıtan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Melih Cevdet Arıtan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zekai Balta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karadeniz Tuyuğ went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻'s Okanay Okuyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻ from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Abdi Saygın Tanyıldız managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻'s supporters rose to their feet, but Abdi Saygın Tanyıldız was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekai Balta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zekai Balta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Saygın Tanyıldız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Saygın Tanyıldız in the 87th minute of play forced Izmirspor's goalkeeper Zekai Balta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ☻▬☻hayretjk☻▬☻ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
