Coşkun Hürsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Sami Tarhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güneş Erdesir. BıraktıMüco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sami Tarhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Güral Ülküsel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Rıfat Özboga in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maslak's goalkeeper Güral Ülküsel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakkı Ruşeni in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güral Ülküsel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, BıraktıMüco's goal looked a bit too open when Hazım Aktaç came free, but Güneş Erdesir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Sami Tarhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güneş Erdesir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind BıraktıMüco's goalkeeper Güneş Erdesir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hakkı Ruşeni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güral Ülküsel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sami Tarhan made a kick off. When Müfit Altıparmak fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maslak's protests and gave Müfit Altıparmak a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Maslak got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Altıparmak. Güneş Erdesir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Tarhan in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, BıraktıMüco's goalkeeper Güneş Erdesir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hazım Aktaç. If Ahmet Rıfat Özboga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Müfit Özarı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BıraktıMüco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maslak the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of BıraktıMüco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maslak:s goal. Coşkun Hürsoy charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Coşkun Hürsoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maslak booed when BıraktıMüco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Cantekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erman Yenisey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Güral Ülküsel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Maslak's zone, Ahmet Rıfat Özboga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güral Ülküsel came out of the goal and Ahmet Rıfat Özboga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sami Tarhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Maslak supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maslak would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
