The Polat UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Polat UNITED's Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hüseyin Can Doğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayram Sefaaddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Esentepe SK booed when Polat UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Sufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Hamdi Sarpkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hüseyin Can Doğan skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Furkan Yurdaer from a close distance when the talented Hüseyin Can Doğan managed to make a qualified save. Polat UNITED's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Furkan Yurdaer got free with Hüseyin Can Doğan in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hüseyin Can Doğan came out of the goal and Furkan Yurdaer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hüseyin Can Doğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayram Sefaaddin in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Polat UNITED's goalkeeper Hüseyin Can Doğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Furkan Yurdaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüseyin Can Doğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayram Sefaaddin in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bayram Sefaaddin made the kick off in the second half. Taci Orus kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hamza Uruk charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamza Uruk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70thth minute of the game Bayram Sefaaddin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polat UNITED's Hüseyin Can Doğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Esentepe SK's goalkeeper Rauf Abdulhakimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu. After a defensive mix-up in Esentepe SK's zone, Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rauf Abdulhakimoğlu came out of the goal and Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Hamza Uruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Esentepe SK's Rauf Abdulhakimoğlu got control of the ball when Bayındır Mehmet Mertoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
