Tayfur Derem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Osman Evirgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necmettin Kumanbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tayfur Derem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Osman Evirgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rahman Kutlay made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Arcan Ataergin sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beyhan Satır during the 21st minute.
