He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ataköy reached it. If Vural Açıkgöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaman Uraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaman Uraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fikret Hünerli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaman Uraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fikret Hünerli having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yamyam United's zone, Vural Açıkgöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikret Hünerli came out of the goal and Vural Açıkgöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Türkeş Dalayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Bilge Dadaloğlu in the 22nd minute of play. Gafur Cire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Türkeş Dalayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fikret Hünerli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vural Açıkgöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Yamyam United got a freekick which was hit by Musa Akbora. In the 33rd minute, Yaman Uraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Yaman Uraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ataköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaman Uraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Mehmet Bilge Dadaloğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Ataköy's Türkeş Dalayer got control of the ball when Gafur Cire tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaman Uraz to strike the kick off in the second half. Vural Açıkgöz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Fikret Hünerli made a huge save. After 69 played minutes Yamyam United got a freekick which was hit by Cemil Peker. Halim Özgan's late challenge caught a Ataköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halim Özgan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Yamyam United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Özgan to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Bilge Dadaloğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Türkeş Dalayer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Ataköy getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hurşit Coşkun hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ataköy's Namık Kutuner got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaman Uraz in the 88th minute of play forced Yamyam United's goalkeeper Fikret Hünerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ataköy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Yamyam United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
