Serhat Mümin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aysan Çoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coşkun Orhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Mümin having to interfere. If Aysan Çoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulaziz Masum in the 18th minute of play forced Gülyali SK's goalkeeper Serhat Mümin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veli Gündeş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balaban Yamaç having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sulakyurt SK's Abdulaziz Masum got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Aybars Savtuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balaban Yamaç having to interfere. Enginsu Satılmış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aybars Savtuna scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Balaban Yamaç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41stth minute of the game Aysan Çoğan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gülyali SK's Serhat Mümin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gülyali SK's zone, Aysan Çoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serhat Mümin came out of the goal and Aysan Çoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Coşkun Orhan to make the kick off. Aysan Çoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coşkun Orhan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Serhat Mümin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sulakyurt SK. Serhat Mümin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coşkun Orhan in the 59th minute of play. When Remzi Şanver fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülyali SK's protests and gave Remzi Şanver a yellow card for diving instead. Remzi Şanver hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Recai İlkan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sulakyurt SK's Alim Kadir tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aysan Çoğan struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enginsu Satılmış couldn't finish the play. The Gülyali SK fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Gülyali SK's Enginsu Satılmış looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, Gülyali SK's goal looked a bit too open when Coşkun Orhan came free, but Serhat Mümin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sulakyurt SK's Aysan Çoğan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serhat Mümin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Coşkun Orhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
