Güralp Ülkü who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Emrullah Akkuş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uygur Özkutay struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Emrullah Akkuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nazilli. If Meriç Ünal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Güralp Ülkü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazilli's supporters rose to their feet, but Güralp Ülkü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emrullah Akkuş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Meriç Ünal was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dargecit's goal looked a bit too open when Güralp Ülkü came free, but Emrullah Akkuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dargecit's Emrullah Akkuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Ülkü in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Dargecit's goal looked a bit too open when Meriç Ünal came free, but Emrullah Akkuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Ünal in the 84th minute of play forced Dargecit's goalkeeper Emrullah Akkuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meriç Ünal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrullah Akkuş having to interfere. Güralp Ülkü scored 3-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emrullah Akkuş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dargecit's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
