The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eser Adıvar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekinözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Eser Adıvar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reha Çetinalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özgün Topçay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Ekinözü's Özgün Topçay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reha Çetinalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reha Çetinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Topçay in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Eser Adıvar made a precise shot to the right of Reha Çetinalp. Lacin JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ekinözü's Özgün Topçay got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sufi Çeliktaş hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Özgün Topçay made a precise shot to the right of Reha Çetinalp. Lacin JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lacin JK's Reha Çetinalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgün Topçay in the 35th minute of play. Eser Adıvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Osman Erincer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Çetinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reha Çetinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eser Adıvar in the 45th minute of play. Eser Adıvar took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reha Çetinalp. Reha Çetinalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sufi Çeliktaş to make the kick off. Eser Adıvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Eser Adıvar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reha Çetinalp was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eser Adıvar in the 68th minute of play forced Lacin JK's goalkeeper Reha Çetinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lacin JK's Sufi Çeliktaş got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eser Adıvar in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reha Çetinalp saved Lacin JK from getting behind. Reha Çetinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eser Adıvar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
