The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Veli Tufan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Gürbüz Uzbay's late challenge caught a Demirci FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürbüz Uzbay helped the player get up and apologised. Veli Tufan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Demirci FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun Akkurt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Veli Tufan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamamözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Veli Tufan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arın Ferhat Rafettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veli Tufan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arın Ferhat Rafettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Veli Tufan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arın Ferhat Rafettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arın Ferhat Rafettin came out of the goal and Veli Tufan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Veli Tufan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Veli Tufan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arın Ferhat Rafettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Veli Tufan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamamözü's Gürbüz Uzbay got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Gürbüz Uzbay off the ground. Gürbüz Uzbay hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hamamözü's Veli Tufan got a free kick in the 79th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Demirci FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hamamözü.
