The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Demircan Yaldırak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ediz Erentürk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ceyhun Üstün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Gökalp Özkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Altintas booed when ÖZCANLAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afşar Sudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceyhun Üstün stood somewhat misplaced when Ali Haydar Cenker came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Ediz Erentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ozan Hacı, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Altintas defense, Demircan Yaldırak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ediz Erentürk. The Altintas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ediz Erentürk should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, ÖZCANLAR's Ceyhun Üstün got control of the ball when Ali Haydar Cenker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demircan Yaldırak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Şemsettin Rasif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediz Erentürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ozan Hacı in the 44th minute of the match. Ali Haydar Cenker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ceyhun Üstün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ceyhun Üstün was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 77 minutes on the clock, Çetin Babürşah commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ceyhun Üstün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furkan Togan in the 81st minute of the match. Ediz Erentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ozan Hacı in the 85th minute of play. In the 98th minute Ali Haydar Cenker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceyhun Üstün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 99 minutes, Bayhan Saik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÖZCANLAR and the Altintas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şemsettin Rasif placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! For all the effort they put into the match, the ÖZCANLAR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Altintas.
