In the 4thth minute of the game Warren Gardner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burgazada's Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asım Ökten's late challenge caught a TRABZON SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asım Ökten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TRABZON SPOR booed when Burgazada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Ökten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asım Ökten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Şansal Pertev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Salih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Gardner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 21 played minutes Burgazada got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa İzzet Oksay. In the 22nd minute Warren Gardner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TRABZON SPOR's Kasım Salih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa İzzet Oksay in the 23rd minute of play. Tan Suni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, TRABZON SPOR's Warren Gardner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Burgazada's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tan Suni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kasım Salih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şansal Pertev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şansal Pertev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Davut Tokyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Burgazada booed when TRABZON SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasım Merih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taha Huzur kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Burgazada's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Suni came free, but Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derya Toraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tan Suni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Burgazada's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Suni came free, but Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Burgazada's Şansal Pertev in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TRABZON SPOR's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TRABZON SPOR fully deserved thier win.
