Tayfun Özhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fahri Sağlamtürk in the 3rd minute. After 7 minutes, Kurtuluş Tümcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Türkiye and the Laleli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Türkiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş Tümcan to maneuver through the defense. Korcan Eryildiz, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tayfun Özhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Birol Başaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Birol Başaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayfun Özhan having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Türkiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş Tümcan to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Fahri Sağlamtürk put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tayfun Özhan. After a defensive mix-up in Türkiye's zone, Fahri Sağlamtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfun Özhan came out of the goal and Fahri Sağlamtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Laleli booed when Türkiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artaç Satır didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ender Ozan in the 33rd minute of play forced Laleli's goalkeeper Ahmet Tolga Usluer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Türkiye's goalkeeper Tayfun Özhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fahri Sağlamtürk. In the 38th minute, Veli Sebih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedai Sadiray hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Laleli's Tayfun Özhan threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Birol Başaran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ender Ozan was the one to do the kick off. Laleli's Fahri Sağlamtürk got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Birol Başaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tayfun Özhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Mustafa Birol Başaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Birol Başaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fahri Sağlamtürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tayfun Özhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Görkem Çetiner's late challenge caught a Türkiye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Görkem Çetiner helped the player get up and apologised. 71 minutes into the match, Türkiye's Fedai Sadiray broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 75th minute, Ferhan Rasif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayfun Özhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Birol Başaran in the 78th minute of the match. Türkiye's Tayfun Özhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Başaran in the 80th minute of play. Tayfun Özhan came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Laleli's Mustafa Birol Başaran. But to his dismay, Mustafa Birol Başaran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Mustafa Birol Başaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tayfun Özhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Türkiye's Tayfun Özhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Başaran in the 91st minute of play.
