Behlül Revis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korkutalp Azer in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekai Açar in the 10th minute of play forced Football Club İstanbul's goalkeeper Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Derepazari SK's Hamit Göçmen got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlyas Kılıçer in the 15th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Korkutalp Azer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behlül Revis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demiralp Önateş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korkutalp Azer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behlül Revis having to interfere. Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zekai Açar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If İlyas Kılıçer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Mehdi Balkoç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Football Club İstanbul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derepazari SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Football Club İstanbul's Mehdi Balkoç got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute, Demiralp Önateş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korkutalp Azer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behlül Revis having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korkutalp Azer to make the kick off. With his leg Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Derepazari SK's Zekai Açar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Korkutalp Azer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Derepazari SK's goal looked a bit too open when Korkutalp Azer came free, but Behlül Revis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behlül Revis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korkutalp Azer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Zekai Açar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları. Football Club İstanbul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zekai Açar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Korkutalp Azer succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, İlyas Kılıçer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları, 1-2. Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Zekai Açar sent off a good shot on target. If Zekai Açar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Gökalp Osmanoğulları showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlyas Kılıçer in the 95th minute of the match. The Football Club İstanbul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Derepazari SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
