Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökay Ogansoy in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burhanettin Ergüleç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gökay Ogansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burhanettin Ergüleç having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Bulancak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Burak Mukerrem to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Bulancak's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mansur Akasma fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güney Akburçak in the 22nd minute of play forced Bulancak's goalkeeper Hamit İğdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bulancak booed when Elbeyli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remzi Semdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Burhanettin Ergüleç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Güney Akburçak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olcay Haktanır's late challenge caught a Elbeyli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olcay Haktanır helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bulancak's Olcay Haktanır got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mansur Akasma took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamit İğdemir. Hamit İğdemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 42nd match minute, Elbeyli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemalettin Şanalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Güney Akburçak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit İğdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güney Akburçak struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hamit İğdemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elbeyli JK. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güney Akburçak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Güney Akburçak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Elbeyli JK's Mansur Akasma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamit İğdemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
