Dündar Eröz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancar Tansan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alkan Resat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sögütözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkan Resat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dündar Eröz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sancar Tansan came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Sögütözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sancar Tansan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Alkan Resat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dündar Eröz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Mehmet Ali Kutsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahadırhan Batıray in the 45th minute of play. Dündar Eröz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkan Resat, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahadırhan Batıray to make the kick off. Mehmet Ali Kutsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Ozan Muharrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarikamis SK's Dündar Eröz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkan Resat in the 90th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
