Güralp Ruşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykan İlican in the 5th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Arda Ozan Akboğa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 16th minute Samir Doğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Sonalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şafak Sonalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuri Demiroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celtikci FK's Arda Ozan Akboğa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arda Ozan Akboğa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Güralp Ruşen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celtikci FK. The supporters of Celtikci FK booed when Footballer Pirates CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Doğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Asaf Atik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Ozan Akboğa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Güralp Ruşen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arda Ozan Akboğa got free with Güralp Ruşen in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baykan İlican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Güralp Ruşen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asaf Atik hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Arda Ozan Akboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuri Demiroğlu's late challenge caught a Celtikci FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuri Demiroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Footballer Pirates CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuri Demiroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Baykan İlican blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güralp Ruşen having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Footballer Pirates CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arda Ozan Akboğa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Baykan İlican managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtikci FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baykan İlican was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güralp Ruşen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celtikci FK's Arda Ozan Akboğa came free and shot a quick shot against goal 48 minutes in the game, fortunately Güralp Ruşen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baykan İlican was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Baykan İlican's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güralp Ruşen was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Footballer Pirates CF's Samir Doğa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Arda Ozan Akboğa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. The tension between the Celtikci FK and the Footballer Pirates CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Footballer Pirates CF booed when Celtikci FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balaban Tunçkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nuri Demiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Mücahit Berkkan's late challenge caught a Footballer Pirates CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Baykan İlican came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Celtikci FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baykan İlican couldn't finish the play. Baykan İlican struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Güralp Ruşen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celtikci FK. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baykan İlican in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güralp Ruşen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Baykan İlican made a precise shot to the right of Güralp Ruşen. Footballer Pirates CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Celtikci FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Nuri Demiroğlu scored to the left of an out of position Şafak Sonalp, making the score, 2-2. Footballer Pirates CF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Celtikci FK had controlled the match.
