Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Iznik's Sungur Perkin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Fethi Yordam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Iznik's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Namık Savaşer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bahadır Mutluhan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sefaatli's goalkeeper Nejat Alp Mertkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Namık Savaşer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was beautiful to see Iznik's Engin Cilasun in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 40 played minutes Sefaatli got a freekick which was hit by Vural Ulubek. Sungur Perkin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Nejat Alp Mertkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iznik. Sungur Perkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nejat Alp Mertkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürbüz Öksal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Alp Mertkan having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Namık Savaşer was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Iznik got a freekick which was hit by Engin Cilasun. The supporters of Sefaatli booed when Iznik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuratay Arıkhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fethi Yordam in the 56th minute of play forced Iznik's goalkeeper Aytuğ Alp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Namık Savaşer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aytuğ Alp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aytuğ Alp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Namık Savaşer went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungur Perkin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nejat Alp Mertkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iznik's Gürbüz Öksal got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cevahir Suhan fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iznik's protests and gave Cevahir Suhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Iznik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevahir Suhan to maneuver through the defense. Sefaatli's Nejat Alp Mertkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Perkin in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Sefaatli got a freekick which was hit by Yenal Sena. Gürbüz Öksals short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Nejat Alp Mertkan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungur Perkin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nejat Alp Mertkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gürbüz Öksal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gürbüz Öksal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nejat Alp Mertkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
