Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sezai Altunhan got the match started through his kick off. Basbasi's Hürkan Okdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bekir Kura in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Vahdet Tolunay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edremit SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Menderes Sayıl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Haydar Peyami having to interfere. Edremit SK's Mustafa Haydar Peyami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menderes Sayıl in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sezai Altunhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edremit SK's Mustafa Haydar Peyami was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sezai Altunhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mustafa Haydar Peyami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peyami İpekdal lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Basbasi. Birol Taki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mustafa Haydar Peyami. 1-1. Birol Taki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Menderes Sayıl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sezai Altunhan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mustafa Haydar Peyami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basbasi. After a rather tough play, Edremit SK's Sedat Tükelalp got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Basbasi's Sezai Altunhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Haydar Peyami. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, Vahdet Tolunay notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Basbasi's Hürkan Okdağ. Hürkan Okdağ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sezai Altunhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Haydar Peyami having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Menderes Sayıl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basbasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Menderes Sayıl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Haydar Peyami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Menderes Sayıl sped through Edremit SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Haydar Peyami. Derman Enginsoy struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hürkan Okdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edremit SK. Mustafa Haydar Peyami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menderes Sayıl in the 89th minute of play. Aybars Yağızhan kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Basbasi's Birol Taki broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Edremit SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Basbasi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
