After 5 minutes, Cengiz Öksüz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Altunhisar JK's Haşmet Özdamar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cengiz Öksüz's late challenge caught a Altunhisar JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cengiz Öksüz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Altunhisar JK booed when FENERBAHÇE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cengiz Öksüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Altunhisar JK's Onur Ali Akbatur in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FENERBAHÇE SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Musa Kanver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vecdet Karlukhan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Altunhisar JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FENERBAHÇE SK:s goal. 23 minutes into the match, Altunhisar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Talha Çokman came free, but Haşmet Özdamar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengiz Öksüz in the 25th minute of play forced Altunhisar JK's goalkeeper Haşmet Özdamar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Talha Çokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FENERBAHÇE SK's Yaman Cansal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talha Çokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cengiz Öksüz made a kick off. Vecdet Karlukhan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Altunhisar JK's Musa Kanver. But to his dismay, Musa Kanver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Altunhisar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Cengiz Öksüz came free, but Haşmet Özdamar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE SK booed when Altunhisar JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Gökalp İnciroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşmet Özdamar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cengiz Öksüz's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Fahri Tuyuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Vecdet Karlukhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Akbatur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, FENERBAHÇE SK's Talha Çokman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haşmet Özdamar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Vecdet Karlukhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Kanver in the 74th minute of the match. Vecdet Karlukhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürhan Tanın, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Talha Çokman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Gürhan Tanın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altunhisar JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 89th minute, Talha Çokman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vecdet Karlukhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Kanver in the 91st minute of play. FENERBAHÇE SK's Vecdet Karlukhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Ali Akbatur in the 92nd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
