Cenk Tandoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ergincan Ünsaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Akif Kutlutekin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ergincan Ünsaç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hacı Ali Yalazabey went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Cenk Tandoğan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ergincan Ünsaç. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Balikesir's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Arif Acemoğlu came free, but Enis Behiç Attaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poyraz Emir's Ergincan Ünsaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Poyraz Emir from getting a goal against them. Hacı Ali Yalazabey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Ergincan Ünsaç skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Abdulaziz Özdil came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Poyraz Emir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulaziz Özdil couldn't finish the play. Abdulaziz Özdil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enis Behiç Attaroğlu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hacı Ali Yalazabey got free with Ergincan Ünsaç in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Balikesir's Cenk Tandoğan in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ergincan Ünsaç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güven Kazakhan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Hacı Ali Yalazabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Hacı Ali Yalazabey notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Poyraz Emir's Ergincan Ünsaç. Ergincan Ünsaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hacı Ali Yalazabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökcan Serbülend struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Enis Behiç Attaroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poyraz Emir. 91 minutes into the game, Güven Kazakhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balikesir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poyraz Emir the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Arif Acemoğlu got free with Enis Behiç Attaroğlu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poyraz Emir's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
