Berker Rıza Denizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzey Tezer in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Güven Kazakhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berker Rıza Denizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Hafikland's Fahrettin Sarper made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enis Behiç Attaroğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fahrettin Sarper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enis Behiç Attaroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Güven Kazakhan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Berker Rıza Denizer came out and tried to block the shot, but Güven Kazakhan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. A collision led to Balikesir getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Resul Ceylan hit a great ball. Fahrettin Sarper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enis Behiç Attaroğlu having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cenk Tandoğan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Hafikland got a freekick which was hit by Bumin Saban. If Fahrettin Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hafikland's Ömer Ersunal got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hafikland getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fahrettin Sarper hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balikesir's zone, Fahrettin Sarper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enis Behiç Attaroğlu came out of the goal and Fahrettin Sarper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balikesir's Enis Behiç Attaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahrettin Sarper in the 69th minute of play. Berker Rıza Denizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenk Tandoğan in the 71st minute of play. If Fahrettin Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fahrettin Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
