Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. İlyas Taybars started the match with the kick off. Arif Nihat Yalazabey hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Poyraz Karayel's attentive Hayrullah Balabey managed to snatch the ball when Özgür Münir made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Mustafa Birol Yoruç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mehmet Akif Güdeş made a huge save. İlyas Taybars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mehmet Akif Güdeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Arif Nihat Yalazabey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malatya FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poyraz Karayel the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Malatya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Nihat Yalazabey to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, Malatya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adem Baykutay to maneuver through the defense. Adem Baykutay took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recep Ayvaz. Recep Ayvaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute İlyas Taybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Güdeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Birol Yoruç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Akif Güdeş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malatya FK's Arif Nihat Yalazabey got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hayrullah Balabey hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Poyraz Karayel defense, Adem Baykutay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Recep Ayvaz. The Poyraz Karayel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Recep Ayvaz should have stopped the shot. Recep Ayvaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adem Baykutay in the 42nd minute of play. Mehmet Akif Güdeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlyas Taybars in the 45th minute of the match. When Poyraz Karayel's Mustafa Birol Yoruç in 47 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mehmet Akif Güdeş guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alparslan Belen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Poyraz Karayel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Arif Nihat Yalazabey scored to the left of an out of position Recep Ayvaz, making the score, 0-3. Alparslan Belen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Ayvaz having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Poyraz Karayel's goalkeeper Recep Ayvaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adem Baykutay. When Bilal Tuğaltan fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poyraz Karayel's protests and gave Bilal Tuğaltan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Bilal Tuğaltan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Poyraz Karayel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Asım Arif Ertaş made a sure 0-4 on a nice kicked penalty. In the 73rd match minute, Malatya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Nihat Yalazabey to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Poyraz Karayel's goal looked a bit too open when Alparslan Belen came free, but Recep Ayvaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Poyraz Karayel's İlyas Taybars made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Akif Güdeş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Recep Ayvaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alparslan Belen in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alparslan Belen in the 88th minute of play forced Poyraz Karayel's goalkeeper Recep Ayvaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Bilal Tuğaltan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Akif Güdeş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlyas Taybars's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Poyraz Karayel's Recep Ayvaz got control of the ball when Adem Baykutay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although Poyraz Karayel had been in control for most of the match, Malatya FK still came away with the win.
