Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alparslan Belen got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Ahmet Fikret Baş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cizre FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Fikret Baş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Fikret Baş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Akif Güdeş was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Adem Baykutay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bayhan İçten made a huge save. Bayhan İçten was a little too slow when Adem Baykutay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Yakup Talay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adem Baykutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan İçten having to interfere. Bayhan İçten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alparslan Belen's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alparslan Belen in the 24th minute of play forced Cizre FK's goalkeeper Bayhan İçten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adem Baykutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cizre FK's goalkeeper Bayhan İçten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Bayhan İçten managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Malatya FK's Adem Baykutay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baha Kazak hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cizre FK booed when Malatya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Nihat Yalazabey didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Fikret Baş in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Akif Güdeş saved Malatya FK from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Ahmet Fikret Baş notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malatya FK's Mehmet Akif Güdeş. Mehmet Akif Güdeş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Fikret Baş to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cizre FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ahmet Fikret Baş hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Malatya FK's Adem Baykutay got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Malatya FK's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Güdeş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakup Talay. Malatya FK's Mehmet Akif Güdeş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Malatya FK from getting a goal against them. Yakup Talay struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mehmet Akif Güdeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cizre FK. 60 minutes into the game, Namık Kemal Hünkar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malatya FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cizre FK the free kick. A collision led to Malatya FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Namık Kemal Hünkar hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Yakup Talay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cizre FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Malatya FK's Adem Baykutay got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alparslan Belen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alparslan Belen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bayhan İçten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cenap Çağar fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cizre FK's protests and gave Cenap Çağar a yellow card for diving instead. Cenap Çağar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Mehmet Akif Güdeş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Fikret Baş in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Arif Nihat Yalazabey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malatya FK and the Cizre FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Malatya FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Yakup Talay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mehmet Akif Güdeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Yakup Talay made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Akif Güdeş. Malatya FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cizre FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
