Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsmail Şenyurt in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Nafiz Batıray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 played minutes Demirköy got a freekick which was hit by Mithat Kerimhan. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilica's goalkeeper Ahmet Nafiz Batıray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match Alim Darga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Nafiz Batıray skillfully saved the ball. Ali Haydar Egesel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Nafiz Batıray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when İsmail Şenyurt made the kick off in the second half. Halit Fahri Şerafeddin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sakut Ünaldi sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsmail Şenyurt in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Nafiz Batıray saved Ilica from getting behind. Sakut Ünaldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Halit Fahri Şerafeddin made a huge save. If İsmail Şenyurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakut Ünaldi scored 0-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halit Fahri Şerafeddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kandemir Hicran in the 76th minute of play forced Demirköy's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Şerafeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Haydar Egesel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Fahri Şerafeddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kandemir Hicran in the 81st minute of the match. Kandemir Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ilica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
