An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldırım Cihansah in the 10th minute of play forced FC Bedar's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Timurkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Sultanahmet's Yıldırım Cihansah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hakkı Onur Timurkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. FC Bedar's Hakkı Onur Timurkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Cihansah in the 13th minute of play. Hakkı Onur Timurkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Cihansah in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Tevfik Kutun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sultanahmet's Ant Sarik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sultanahmet from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bedar's Bayındır Mehmet Özay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ant Sarik. That made the score 1-2 after 23 minutes of play. İskender Nazil kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ant Sarik made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Tevfik Kutun sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Asım Tardu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sultanahmet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bedar the free kick. Asım Tardu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Bulut Semi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Murat Selahaddin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakkı Onur Timurkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tevfik Kutun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ant Sarik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ant Sarik made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tevfik Kutun sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tevfik Kutun was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Kutun in the 53rd minute of play forced Sultanahmet's goalkeeper Ant Sarik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bayındır Mehmet Özay in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ant Sarik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute of the match, Yıldırım Cihansah got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hakkı Onur Timurkan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bulut Semi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ant Sarik. Sultanahmet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bayındır Mehmet Özay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gündüz Şanberk charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gündüz Şanberk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gündüz Şanberk hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ant Sarik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Özay in the 71st minute of the match. Ant Sarik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevfik Kutun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gündüz Şanberk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tevfik Kutun managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bedar's supporters rose to their feet, but Tevfik Kutun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ant Sarik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İskender Nazil kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Tevfik Kutun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bedar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tevfik Kutun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sultanahmet defense, Tevfik Kutun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ant Sarik. The Sultanahmet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ant Sarik should have stopped the shot. The FC Bedar fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FC Bedar's Bayındır Mehmet Özay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sultanahmet's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
