In the 3rd match minute, Cayyolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resul Koçubey to maneuver through the defense. Sadettin Ömürcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resul Koçubey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fevzi Tacim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Seyfi Urandu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Berk Tanırcan having to make a save. The supporters of Basbasi FK booed when Cayyolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Resul Koçubey didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cayyolu's Anıl Berk Tanırcan got control of the ball when Atabey Emrettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Basbasi FK's Atabey Emrettin got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Yağızkurt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayyolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basbasi FK the free kick. A collision led to Cayyolu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abdulaziz Yağızkurt hit a great ball. If Lütfi Tekecan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Tümer Hancı dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anıl Berk Tanırcan, 1-0. When Fahri Sözer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cayyolu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahri Sözer couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Basbasi FK's Tümer Hancı got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Fahri Sözer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Urandu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anıl Berk Tanırcan to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orhan Seyfi Urandu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sadettin Ömürcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Anıl Berk Tanırcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Seyfi Urandu might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Berk Tanırcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orhan Seyfi Urandu ran back to his position shaking his head. Anıl Berk Tanırcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadettin Ömürcan in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Cayyolu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nebi Akata hit a great ball. Anıl Berk Tanırcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tümer Hancı in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sadettin Ömürcan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Berk Tanırcan saved Cayyolu from getting behind. Anıl Berk Tanırcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadettin Ömürcan in the 73rd minute of play. Orhan Seyfi Urandu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sadettin Ömürcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anıl Berk Tanırcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cayyolu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Behçet Revha hit a great ball. Çelikan Durualp hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fevzi Tacim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfi Tekecan in the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sadettin Ömürcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basbasi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sadettin Ömürcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Berk Tanırcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Basbasi FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
