Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) GUNİZ FC's Karahan Polatkan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Karahan Polatkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sezai Çinucen. Özalp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karahan Polatkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Melik Köksal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Özalp's zone, Karahan Polatkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezai Çinucen came out of the goal and Karahan Polatkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tayyip Doğa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berat Yetkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Özalp's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Utku İncili came free, but Sezai Çinucen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Anıl Ege Ulus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kandemir Pektürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Özalp got a freekick which was hit by Soner Hattat. Sezai Çinucen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melik Köksal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umut Hafızoğlu in the 37th minute of play forced Özalp's goalkeeper Sezai Çinucen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Özalp booed when GUNİZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reis Öznur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Karahan Polatkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUNİZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karahan Polatkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezai Çinucen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ahmet İlhan Şahin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Özalp's protests and gave Ahmet İlhan Şahin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GUNİZ FC booed when Özalp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İlhan Şahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karahan Polatkan's late challenge caught a Özalp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karahan Polatkan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GUNİZ FC's Karahan Polatkan got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berat Yetkiner was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Özalp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karahan Polatkan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melik Köksal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, GUNİZ FC's Reis Öznur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezai Çinucen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Karahan Polatkan had several of the Özalp's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Sezai Çinucen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Reis Öznur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Sezai Çinucen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Karahan Polatkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUNİZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karahan Polatkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezai Çinucen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Reis Öznur came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the GUNİZ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reis Öznur couldn't finish the play. Soner Hattat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tayyip Doğa. GUNİZ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tayyip Doğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berat Yetkiner in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Berat Yetkiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Özalp's supporters rose to their feet, but Berat Yetkiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 92nd minute, Reis Öznur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GUNİZ FC's Reis Öznur got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reis Öznur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over GUNİZ FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Özalp throughout the match.
