With a little luck, Pazaryolu FK's Ali Cafer Mithat got control of the ball when Abdi Mehmet Revan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erzurumspor SK's Eray Yoruk got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Erzurumspor SK's Eray Yoruk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Cafer Mithat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdi Mehmet Revan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ali Cafer Mithat made a huge save. Abdi Mehmet Revan might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cafer Mithat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdi Mehmet Revan ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdi Mehmet Revan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Cafer Mithat having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Kutlu Özkoc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Üzeyir Tekke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutlu Özkoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Kutlu Özkoc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ahmet Koralp Ağcabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir Tekke having to interfere. Erzurumspor SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kutlu Özkoc 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
