The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Kirklareli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Fazilet came free, but Garip Özonder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Mazhar Fazilet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Özonder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hasköy booed when Kirklareli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdi Yılğıralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Acun Selman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Özonder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Acun Selman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Hasköy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kirklareli SK:s goal. Hasköy:s Abdulmelik Şinasi showed great skill when he stopped Hayyam Tavgaç:s penalty. Garip Özonder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acun Selman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Kirklareli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdi Yılğıralp to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Cem Şenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Garip Özonder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Fazilet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulmelik Şinasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Yetiş in the 55th minute of the match. Mazhar Fazilet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garip Özonder having to interfere. Akay Altıncığlu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Arif Gaffar Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Kirklareli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayyam Tavgaç to maneuver through the defense. Mazhar Fazilet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdulmelik Şinasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Gaffar Tekin in the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nedim Yetiş in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdulmelik Şinasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arif Gaffar Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kirklareli SK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Akay Altıncığlu hit a great ball. If Acun Selman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Nedim Yetiş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirklareli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nedim Yetiş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Gaffar Tekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Gaffar Tekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdulmelik Şinasi having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
