In the 8th match minute, Iskenderun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göksun Ünlem to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Beykoz FK's zone, Yaşar Kamaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercan Canbulat came out of the goal and Yaşar Kamaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Iskenderun's Yaşar Kamaci in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beykoz FK's goalie prevented a goal. Efekan Sanat hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Iskenderun booed when Beykoz FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efekan Sanat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Merih Egesel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercan Canbulat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Iskenderun's Hakan Can got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Arnulfo Peli had several of the Iskenderun's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Abdulkadir Toygun as he didn't even see the shot coming. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Peli was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Merih Egesel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Arnulfo Peli put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abdulkadir Toygun. Beykoz FK's Andoni Lantadilla got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Beykoz FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentza Vidaurre to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gentza Vidaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beykoz FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gentza Vidaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkadir Toygun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Beykoz FK's zone, Yaşar Kamaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercan Canbulat came out of the goal and Yaşar Kamaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Yaşar Kamaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iskenderun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaşar Kamaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Peli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulkadir Toygun was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Andoni Lantadilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdulkadir Toygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Arnulfo Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Toygun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Abdulkadir Toygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beykoz FK fully deserved thier win.
