Doğuhan Terim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykan Güleryüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Mecnun Adanır kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Nuh Özkent shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doğuhan Terim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Emrullah Gurbet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Alkın Dursunali fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samandagi's protests and gave Alkın Dursunali a yellow card for diving instead. Ertan Baler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Öztürk Karataş having to make a save. Ertan Baler struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Öztürk Karataş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burdur. After 39 played minutes Samandagi got a freekick which was hit by Arif Buğra Ulaş. Emrullah Gurbet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Öztürk Karataş having to interfere. If Ertan Baler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ertan Baler struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samim Kuvvet made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alkın Dursunali got free with Doğuhan Terim in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Samandagi's Ahmet Hamdi Attaroğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doğuhan Terim. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, one of Samandagi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Samandagi. Kuzey Paşa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ertan Baler in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Öztürk Karataş saved Samandagi from getting behind. Doğuhan Terim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samim Kuvvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkın Dursunali came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Doğuhan Terim could save by the left post. Burdur were furious when Bilal Onurhan was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 96th minute, one of Burdur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Burdur. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Samandagi. Nuh Özkent stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Doğuhan Terim. 0-2. The Burdur manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Samandagi to win.
