Özmen Çol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turgay Vefik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind MZDF's goalkeeper Turgay Vefik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Sufi Orkun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZDF and the Ayvacik JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MZDF's Sufi Orkun got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tugay Orguntay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Turgay Vefik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Özmen Çol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Turgay Vefik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragıp Perviz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, MZDF's goalkeeper Turgay Vefik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tugay Orguntay. A collision led to Ayvacik JK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Birol Bozoğluer hit a great ball. Özmen Çol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Turgay Vefik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Tugay Orguntay could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Turgay Vefik however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute Ayvacik JK were awarded a corner. Birol Bozoğluer went to the cornerflag to take it. 42 minutes into the game, MZDF's Sufi Suerkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Anıl İnceman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sufi Suerkan made the kick off in the second half. MZDF's Sufi Suerkan suffered a concussion in the 52nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Kuddusî Hürsel charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kuddusî Hürsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kuddusî Hürsel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, MZDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergincan Şahvar to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Hafız Mesut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayvacik JK the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tugay Orguntay during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, MZDF's goal looked a bit too open when Tugay Orguntay came free, but Turgay Vefik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özmen Çol in the 66th minute of play forced MZDF's goalkeeper Turgay Vefik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, MZDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atıf Ak to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Tugay Orguntay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayvacik JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tugay Orguntay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Battal Gazi Eryetiş's late challenge caught a MZDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Battal Gazi Eryetiş helped the player get up and apologised. Battal Gazi Eryetiş hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Ayvacik JK's Özmen Çol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turgay Vefik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tugay Orguntay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Turgay Vefik having to make a save. Ayvacik JK's Özmen Çol managed to work through MZDF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Özmen Çol dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 81 minutes into the match, MZDF's Münir Kavaş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Anıl İnceman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ayvacik JK's Abdullah Şömel got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Tugay Orguntay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özmen Çol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgay Vefik having to interfere. Atıf Ak hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Birol Bozoğluer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MZDF's Turgay Vefik did a great save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
