If Yavuz Selimhan Mennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ekrem Kayrahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, one of Kocasinan FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sögütözü a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nazım Avcıoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kocasinan FK's Hadi Ogün. 0-1. Hadi Ogün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yavuz Selimhan Mennan's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Nedim Çelikoz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mustafa Emrah Ongel to make any attempt to save it. After 28 played minutes Kocasinan FK got a freekick which was hit by Atay Ula. Cezmi Hayal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Ekrem Kayrahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hadi Ogün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Ekrem Kayrahan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocasinan FK's Hadi Ogün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sögütözü's Ekrem Kayrahan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hadi Ogün narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Yavuz Selimhan Mennan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yavuz Selimhan Mennan took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hadi Ogün. Hadi Ogün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sögütözü's Mustafa Emrah Ongel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sögütözü from getting a goal against them. The Kocasinan FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sögütözü were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yavuz Selimhan Mennan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nedim Çelikoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Nedim Çelikoz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sögütözü's Mustafa Emrah Ongel. Mustafa Emrah Ongel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atay Ula's late challenge caught a Sögütözü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atay Ula helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kocasinan FK! Anıl Biçimli hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Hıdır Şahin fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocasinan FK's protests and gave Hıdır Şahin a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kocasinan FK's zone, Osman Nuri Bostancıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hadi Ogün came out of the goal and Osman Nuri Bostancıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Emrah Ongel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hıdır Şahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hadi Ogün had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Yavuz Selimhan Mennan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 91 played minutes Sögütözü got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Mennan. Hıdır Şahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mustafa Emrah Ongel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sögütözü's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
