The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Denizli's Tolga Ceri got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Fikret Muhtar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahrettin Keyfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fikret Muhtar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fahrettin Keyfer went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tuncer Yura struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Taşboğa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emir SK. Fahrettin Keyfer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fikret Muhtar came out and tried to block the shot, but Fahrettin Keyfer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ceyhan Sertel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emir SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denizli the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Emir SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ceyhan Sertel to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fahrettin Keyfer got free with Fikret Muhtar in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emir SK's Fikret Muhtar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Emir SK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Ali Saatçi got free with Fikret Muhtar in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Fahrettin Keyfer made the kick off in the second half. Fahrettin Keyfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fikret Muhtar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Şadi Ufuk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fikret Muhtar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56thth minute of the game Fahrettin Keyfer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emir SK's Fikret Muhtar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Emir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Ali Saatçi came free, but Fikret Muhtar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Osman Ali Saatçi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fikret Muhtar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Fikret Muhtar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahrettin Keyfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Emir SK's zone, Osman Ali Saatçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikret Muhtar came out of the goal and Osman Ali Saatçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fikret Muhtar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fahrettin Keyfer's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Emir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Ali Saatçi came free, but Fikret Muhtar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osman Ali Saatçi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fikret Muhtar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denizli. Ahmet Ceyhan Sertel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Fahrettin Keyfer put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fikret Muhtar. In the 85th minute, Osman Ali Saatçi made a precise shot to the right of Fikret Muhtar. Emir SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 88th minute, Fahrettin Keyfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denizli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 92nd minute Fahrettin Keyfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikret Muhtar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denizli had played much better football throughout.
